Government announces changes to JobKeeper
On 21 July the Government announced it is extending the JobKeeper Payment for a further six months until 28 March 2021 and is targeting support to those businesses and not-for-profits who continue to be significantly impacted by the Coronavirus.
As the events of COVID-19 have demonstrated – and indeed, this week’s major news around state-sponsored ransomware attacks and data theft directly on Australia – our personal privacy, the protection of our financial information and even our very identities, has never been more crucial.
It has become so important to ensure we’re doing everything we can to protect ourselves from those threats that would have our privacy opened up on the dark web. Business owners have an even greater responsibility for both their own and their client’s privacy.
Yet so often, not enough is being done, because so often, people don’t know where to turn.
Are you, or anyone you know, not up to date with their Employer Superannuation Guarantee Obligations?
If so, the current Amnesty Relief measures will be of benefit to you.
This information is intended for those businesses that are currently receiving JobKeeper payments, or for those who anticipate they will be entitled to the JobKeeper payment for the month of May 2020 and have not previously been eligible.
