To assist South Australian individuals and businesses who suffer a significant loss of income or have been forced to close as a result of the state’s seven-day lockdown, the Marshall Liberal Government has offered some emergency cash grants as part of a major financial assistance package.

Government announces changes to JobKeeper Extension 1 from 28 September 2020 to 3 January 2021
The JobKeeper extension 1 will start from 28 September 2020, and the ATO have just released some updates in relation to timing and the ‘80-hours test’.
Government announces changes to JobKeeper
The latest amendment to the JobKeeper 1.0 rules has been released. From Monday 3 August 2020, the employee eligibility test date will move from 1 March 2020 to 1 July 2020. The new reference date will apply for the last four fortnights of the legislated scheme as well as the duration of the proposed extended period.
